Jessica Emin, Wine Columnist

Jessica Emin is wine lover, independent traveller and French speaker from Moncton, N.B. She discovered her love for wine after many years of swirling glasses at parties. This love was amplified after spending the summer of 2011 at Summerhill Pyramid Vineyard in one of Canada's best wine regions, the Okanagan Valley. Her first degree was an honours in English literature from Mount Allison University. Now she frolics the grounds of the University of King's College in the hopes of achieving a journalism degree. When she's not in school, she's studying wine. Jessica hopes to have finished the last two of four certificates with the Wine and Spirits Education Trust by the end of next fall. If she's not enjoying a bottle of wine, you might find her leafing through fashion magazines, in a bikini at a music festival, watching film festival flicks, taking pictures, texting while you're talking to her, trying to emulate Iron Chef, grinding to soul music or hanging with her goons. When she grows up, Jessica aspires to be hired to criticize wine, travel and eat oysters; is that too much to ask?
