Lola Drewery, Social Media Manager

Lola is a fourth-year International Development Studies student at Dalhousie with a minor in journalism at King’s. She is a documentary photographer drawn to environmental issues, people, subcultures and the places that shape them.

Before joining the Dalhousie Gazette, Lola was editor-in-chief of No Take Back Magazine, an independent print magazine covering extreme sports in Nova Scotia. She has also worked in communications and environmental journalism with an environmental NGO in Argentina, and photographed everything from musicians and fashion to gauchos and tree planters.

Outside the Gazette, she can usually be found on her bike, running late to her next project and carrying far more cameras than necessary.
