Head coach Rick Scott should be pleased as his Tigers never looked out of place Jan. 25, improving to 10 – 3 on the season with a victory against Acadia. From the first serve, you could sense the edge in Dal’s step over their opposition.

Strong offence and numerous Acadia errors during the three sets particularly wiped away some of Dal’s sloppy defending in the second set.

The girls in black and gold won in straight sets over Acadia, 25 – 18, 25 – 20 and 25 – 15.

Outside hitter Louise Facca and middle Maggie Li led Dal throughout, providing a combined 21 kills.

The Tigers hit the court again Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. on the road where they hope to grab a vital two points against undefeated St. Mary’s.

For an extended recap of the game, check the Feb. 3 edition of the Dalhousie Gazette.
