Jacob Waldner, Mackerel Editor-in-Chief

Jacob is a fourth year of the Bachelor of Computer Science student at Dalhousie and has been a contributor to the Mackerel for the past three years. He has written over 25 satirical articles, including a fan favourite piece where a professor has sex with a parking meter, which was inexplicably nominated for a John H. McDonald Award for Excellence in Student Journalism (but it didn't win, obviously).

Jacob returns to the Mackerel this year as editor, hoping to pass on what he's learned as a lifelong buffoon to inspire a new generation of contributors to make themselves laugh above all else - hopefully getting his revenge on the Canadian University Press in the process.
