The Dalhousie women’s volleyball team hosted the Scotiabank Invitational this weekend, their only preseason tournament of the year.

Dal started the weekend strong Friday evening with a 3 – 0 win against UNB. The next day was a mix bag for the Tigers, winning their morning contest against Acadia 3 – 0 but losing to Saint Mary’s 3 – 1. The weekend closed on a low note for the women, falling to St. FX 3 – 1.

The Huskies were the only undefeated team in the tournament.

For an extended recap of the weekend tournament, read the Oct. 7 edition of the Dalhousie Gazette.

CORRECTION: In an earlier version of this story, it was stated this past weekend’s tournament was Dalhousie’s only exhibition of the year. Instead, they have further exhibition play against Quebec schools scheduled during the season. The Gazette regrets the error.
