Tigers still heading to playoffs after 1 – 5 season
Unable to overcome an early 14-point deficit, the visiting Dalhousie Football Club fell 43 – 29 in their last regular season game Nov. 5 to the defending AFL champion UNB Saint John Seawolves.
Dal ends the season with a 1 – 5 standing and two points. The Seawolves have a .500 record of 3 – 3 and six points.
Justin Cavan had two touchdowns for the Seawolves, while Tigers quarterback Brendan Festeryga rushed for two touchdowns in the losing effort.
The Tigers head into the AFL playoffs next weekend to play the league leading Holland College Hurricanes Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
