Mount Allison may have wished Saturday evening’s game against Dalhousie ended after the first quarter.

The Mounties were only down by a tally after the opening quarter, 5 – 4, but that was about all the visiting side had to show for themselves offensively as the Tigers flexed their overwhelming depth, clobbering the opposition 23 – 7 to maintain their title as the only undefeated team in the league.

Dal was up 12 – 6 after the half thanks to six unanswered tallies to open the second quarter. The Tigers edge would only expand as Mount Allison only had one further marker in the rest of the match. Dal added 11 more goals to their column.

The Tigers hold a 3 – 0 record, while the Mounties are now owners of a 1 – 2 standing.

For an extended recap of the game, read the Sept. 30 edition of the Dalhousie Gazette.
