IDEAS AGM

New to Dal? Interested in studying international development studies? In your last year of IDS and always wanted to get involved with IDEAS? Feel like meeting cool people (#wearecool4realzz)? Come out to the IDEAS 2015/2016 fall AGM!
The International Development Studies Education and Awareness Society (IDEAS) is the IDS departmental student society at Dal. IDEAS is a community for people interested in issues of international social justice and development. We aim to create awareness around global development issues with the general public while providing opportunities for deeper education and discussion as well. Our activities include hosting guest speakers, social events, social justice fundraisers, samosa sales, scholarships and more. IDEAS represents Dalhousie Undergraduate International Development Studies students but is open to any interested members.
At our fall AGM we will be reviewing/adding to and amending our vision for 2015/2016, welcoming and informing new members, providing executive presentations, reviewing our budget and electing two new executive members! We are looking to elect an Equity Advisor and an Events Co-ordinator!
There will be snacks and general good times. Spread the word!
