Career, Education and Settlement Fair

“Canadian Immigrant magazine and Scotiabank are proud to present Halifax’s 1st Annual Career, Education & Settlement Fair, in partnership with Fusion Halifax, taking place on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at the World Trade and Convention Centre (1800 Argyle St.), 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While this is the first time the fair has been held in the Atlantic Provinces, the innovative event for newcomers to Canada is built upon the successful track record of similar events in Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary over the past five years. This past June, more than 1,000 Canadian newcomers attended the 5th Annual Career, Education & Settlement Fair in Toronto.
The Halifax fair this September will be tailored to the specific needs of immigrants in the province, including its growing numbers of international students and temporary foreign workers.
