Rad Frosh Kickoff & Move-In Day Social!

“In search of some quiet during the hubbub of move-in day? Want to hang out in a cute space, meet like-minded people, and get to know what Rad Frosh and the Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group (NSPIRG) are all about? This Sunday afternoon hangout will feature the smiling faces of your friendly local Rad Frosh coordinators, AND:

– Board games (bring your game face for Settlers of Catan, Scrabble, cribbage, and more)

– Crafty fun (make your own sparkly consent-themed pillowcase, featuring all your favourite ways to ask and say yes/no/maybe)

– A colouring corner featuring pages from queer-posi colouring books (we hear adult colouring books are cool these days)

– Rad zines, buttons, books, and other swag & resources from NSPIRG, as well as an intro to what NSPIRG is all about!

– Delicious snax (vegan and GF-friendly!)

ACCESSIBILITY INFO: This event will be located at South House’s new location (1443 Seymour St.) The entrance to South House is down three steps through the side door. Attendees are welcome to hang out inside or in the backyard, which is physically accessible via the paved pathway to the left of the house. Depending on weather we will try to make all the crafting materials available either inside or outside. While the washrooms inside the building are gender neutral, they are not yet wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible gender neutral washrooms are located across the street in the McCain Building.
