From Tigers to Stingers and back
Ochu played against strong competition in U Sports, but the CEBL was another level to experience. He wasn’t able to get much time on the court, but he was able to learn what it takes to play on the professional level.
Recruitment carries on
U Sports has a ban on all in-person visits and recruiting, meaning that teams and players must rely on remote recruiting for the time being. There have been both positives and negatives with this type of recruiting according to Cindy Tye.
Through thick and thin
All players are set to return except graduates Sascha Kappos, Jordan Wilson, Brent Martindale and Matt McVeigh. One of the returning players is Keevan Veinot, who will be one of the leaders of this year’s Tigers squad.
