The Dalhousie Football Club was unable to overcome some early missed chances Saturday afternoon, losing a thrilling 16 – 13 decision to the Holland College Hurricanes in Charlottetown.

For the Tigers, Steve Fox had 161 yards receiving, while running back Greg Pelly carried the ball for over 100 yards. Pelly had the Tigers second touchdown with two minutes remaining in the game, which closed the 16-6 deficit to what would become the final score.

Dal had the ball in the red zone with seconds left on the clock in the final quarter, but an interception ruined the Tigers last-minute rally.

For an extended recap of the game, read the Sept. 30 edition of the Dalhousie Gazette.
