The Dalhousie Tigers men’s hockey team suffered an embarrassing 7 – 2 loss Saturday, Oct. 16 at Memorial Arena. There were seven different goal scorers for Moncton, while Dal forwards Patrick Daley and Benoit Gervais had the Tigers two goals.

After giving up three goals on nine shots, Tigers head coach Pete Belliveau benched starting goaltender Bobby Nadeau. His replacement Wendell Vye didn’t fare much better, allowing three goals in the second period and a final marker in the first minute of the third.

Moncton scored two goals on the power play and had a shorthanded tally from Christian Gaudet.

The Tigers and Aigles Blues have a 1 – 1 record after opening weekend.
